RANT!: Dumbass Brothers

Alright, so today I'm going to say something that needs to be said. I have these two older brothers (One who is in university and one who is staying here for God knows how long) and they are a complete pain in the ass. All they do is complain how I may be doing something wrong.

They act like they're the boss of me and my brother. They seem to only poke and make fun for the amusement, as if I were to freak out and have a tantrum. Well, those days are over. If you two can explain to me on why you do it, then let me here it. But I have a feeling that you can't. Do you see me telling me what you need to do, or anything like that? No, you don't.

Now you two are probably thinking, "Ugh! He made fun of us in a blog! We have to get revenge and make fun of him for it!". Sit down and take a deep breath and find something else you could be doing instead of being juvenile pricks.

RANT!: The Office (US TV Series) Losing It's Touch

Now, before all you "Office Fans" start to berate me, let me explain something. I love The Office. Both the UK and US versions. I even have the four seasons of the US versions on DVD. I did love the fifth season, but it didn't seem to get me like the other past four did.

Anyways, I'm here to speak about how The Office is losing it's touch. The first season is really hard to talk about because it's basically a remake of the first season of the UK version. But I did like it. (Especially the basket ball episode.) Now the second season is my absolute favorite. To me, it's the best season. Every episode had me laughing from beginning to end and every episode is memorable. The third season wasn't as good as the second season but, I still found it hilarious. About 85% of all the episodes in season three had me laughing hard.

Now, this is where I noticed when the shit hit the fan. Even though season four is good, I began to notice something. It seemed that it began to add a little bit more drama. (For example, the Jim and Pam relationship, the break up of Dwight and Angela, and of course, the Andy and Angela relationship.) Now, there wasn't a lot of drama, but there was a tiny bit of it and that really put me off. Besides that, it's good as gold.

Now, I'm going to skip the other season and go to the season that it's on now. Now, we have so much drama going on. Ever since the Jim and Pam wedding and the birth of Jim and Pam's baby, it seemed to hit down hill from there. I think the birth of Jim and Pam's baby was when the show jumped the shark. We can't do marriages of other characters now because we know as the audience that we already had one. We wouldn't need another. Same thing goes for the birth.

So, will I continue watching the show? No. The show is like food. At first, it's fresh and later when it becomes ripe, it's good. But over the years, the food will rot into something we don't need to see.

RANT!: Justin Bieber on Twitter

Alright, so it's no surprise that Justin Bieber is a trending topic on Twitter. You can even look right now, and see that he's on there. I'm not particularly sure when he became a trending topic, but a lot of people are rather whining about how he's a trending topic on Twitter, or how he's a fag.

Now this didn't bother me at first, but now it has to stop. I'm not saying that Justin Bieber should lose his career, or he should die or whatever. I just think that people should stop talking about him, rather it is hateful comments or praising comments. Just stop talking about him. Yes, he may be talented, but do we need some many accounts on Twitter that praise him or hate him? Seriously, there's like hundreds of accounts only for the purpose of praising or hating him. To be honest, I think it's a waste.

If you can tell me what makes those accounts worth keeping, then I may think differently, but right now, they're absolutely worthless. They just take up a waste of space. I'm sorry if I'm offending the people who make those accounts but you got to think about if it's worth it to have a "Justin Bieber Fan Twitter" account.

RANT!: Flaming on Twitter

Okay, so today, I was on Twitter today, and I noticed a certain someone (not going to give his name away) flaming my brother on Twitter for no particular reason. That's right, for no particular reason. My first reaction, I was furious. This guy who flamed my brother obviously didn't know who the person was so he just went:

"Fuck it, I'm gonna assume it's Brandon. Now I shall call him sexist, racist and many other hurtful names! That'll show him!".

Okay dude, lay off. First of all, I'm in the exact same room with him and he never made that account that you thought was him. The person who made that account was my friend named Darris Reid. If you noticed, his pic was a Kingdom Hearts character which Darris is a HUGE fan of. Me and Brandon have played the KH games and we never really got far in it. (By that, I mean we never even fought the first boss).

Personally, I think you are in a state of delusion. Instead of asking him, you jumped on him and began to berate him, making him seem like a piece of shit. Do you honestly think he would have done that? Only you would think that, because you're lonely.

I'm just so sick and tired of this crap and seeing this shit, makes me want to quit Twitter entirely because if people can't act in a polite manner, then what the fuck is the point? Is this what we want Twitter to be like? To be filled with hateful and delusional people. No. I don't think we do.

TV Show Reveiw: Pure Pwnage (TV Series)

When it comes to video games, we don't think of television shows. Sure, maybe we have 'X-Play', 'Electric Playground', 'Reviews on the Run', and a few other shows on G4, but what about a show that doesn't review games but is instead, about a life of a pro gamer? Well, that's where 'Pure Pwnage' comes in.

The show revolves around a life of a pro gamer named Jeremy or 'teh_pwnerer' (Played by Jarett Cale) who spends most of his time playing video games and "pwning n00bs" online. His younger brother, Kyle (Played by Geoff Lapaire) films Jeremy for the show. We never get to actually see Kyle since he is behind the camera filming Jeremy, but he does talk to Jeremy giving that mockumentary feel and making the show seem realistic.

Of course, Jeremy has friends in the show. We have Doug or 'fps_doug' who is Jeremy's best friend and as his name suggests, he plays FPS games. A most defining characteristic for Doug is when he gets headshots in FPS games. He says "Boom, headshot!", which became extremely popular around the web and in online games. With the addition of Doug, the show becomes more hilarious. His actions are so over the top that it's just awesome.

The next character we have is October (Played by Melanie Scrofano). She is an employee of the Mouse & Pad and she's also a WoW (World of Warcraft) player. From watching the first episode, she is the love interest for Jeremy. If you watched the web series on their site, she's basically the role for Anastasia in the TV series.

And of course, we have one more friend of Jeremy. His name is Tyrel (Played by Eli Goree). Now if you watched the second season of the web series, then you know exactly that he is supposed to be a role of T-Bag in the TV series. Now as the fans know, the actor who played as T-Bag died in a car accident and he will be missed. But I think that Eli Goree does a very good job playing the character. He was hilarious in the 7th episode.

But wait, what about a TV version of Dave? Well, we may not get a Dave, but we get a new guy named Simon (Played by Simon Wong). Simon is the manager of The Mouse & Pad. His character may not have as many lines, but every line he say makes me laugh.

Overall, I found the TV series very good. I think it's a little bit better than the web series and I think it's a good match up. Now as far as I know, there isn't a season two planned. But don't lose hope! The Pure Pwnage guys say that they are still continuing the web series. So, if you can't get enough of the TV episodes, go to the website, www.purepwnage.ca to see the hilarious web episodes.

Video Game Review: Donkey Kong Jr. Math (NES)

Donkey Kong Jr. Math (NES)

Ever wanted to play a math game on the Nintendo? Tired of learning it from school? Why not bring your math home with you with, Donkey Kong Jr. Math? In this game, you can add, subtract, multiply, divide to the number that you are given. With two players, you race eachother to solve the number first. This game came out in 1983 on the Family Computer or the Famicom. Then, it was released in 1985 in North America.

Now I have one question. What were they thinking about releasing this game? In fact, why did they put this game on Animal Crossing for the Gamecube and Virtual Console? Why not release games like Earthbound? First off, we play video games to get away from school work and such but when you realease a game like this, chances are nobody will want it. The only fun I had with this game was make Donkey Kong Jr. fall into the water. But why make a math game with Nintendo characters? I mean, you don't see Mario doing this kind of stuff. Oh wait, he did.

Well anyways, in my opinion, this has got to be one of the worst ideas for a video game. I mean I can see Seasame Street making games like this, but why Nintendo? There's not much to say about this game. It's just Donkey Kong Jr. with math involved. Does it have a story line? No. Does it have any replay value? No. Is there any action what so ever? No. So, this game is just a waste of time.
